A while back George Siemens asked me and several others if We’d be willing to participate in his Connectivism Online Conference as a "context filter." The format is a sort of smaller scale K12 Online. It all kicked off with a preconference keynote given by George and then five presentations given one each day next week at the same time of day. This is the schedule:

I have been asked to filter from the poverty perspective and how shared
knowledge could be managed to best leverage emancipation of this social system. Having had the honor of presenting around the country to both service providers of the homeless and the clients they serve, I will use those experiences, as well as my own personal experience, to inform my opinion as I try to translate what I am hearing and the possible impact on those who do not have a voice: children of poverty.
